  • "Did people really..." Yes! In Medieval times, headbutting your enemy in the gut with a spiked helm was a frequent method of attack. In the 1930s and 1940s, it was more a symbolic thing. But that is not to say that someone would not use it Medieval-style in a desperate situation.

  • *The men who fought in the war before, don’t make disrespect them, they maybe sacrifice themself to save the country and their family, imagine you are standing in a battlefield since 1914 of the First World War. There is no peaceful noises. Only gunfire, artillery, screaming, shouting, and explosion. Men who fought in the war may be a coward or brave. Respect the men who passed away in the world war. They fought to save their family. And the reason we are finding some treasures that are unknown. We find it to sell it or maybe repair it, or even keep it for a collection.*

  • Still waiting for a "National Treasure 3"... I didn't check on its status in quite some time, so I'll see if it's out of development hell or just DEAD... - And, well, sad news for anyone who MIGHT have still been waiting for a third movie; Apparently they were still working on it as "recent" as January 2020 (ever since 2008), but then in May 2020 they announced it would become a Disney+ series with a new cast. - They're also getting a Latina-American. And nothing against different nationalities or whatever, but obviously they're forcing the diversity-thing. Guess she'll be queer as well. - Could be a good series, but who cares if it's called "American Treasure", just make something different then. - It was about Nicholas Cage going around like a modern-day Indiana Jones and freaking out his family with his antics. - That said, a third movie should've been out by 2010 or so anyway. But frickin' Disney couldn't just get a move on. Kinda tired of their crap...

  • 19:58 - I had a look, and apparently it was originally used to deflect blades, you know, like sabers/swords. - But eventually, it just became decorative or ceremonial. And also that after a long time they decided to remove it because it became IMpractical to have something jutting out on top. So it was definitely a very old form of defense more than anything, as well as just decoration to this day. - They also provided little protection from more modern weaponry than blades.
